Hi guys, I recently wrote about a system update on my Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) which caused me eye strain. I was able to downgrade back to the firmware with exact the same kernel from when it didn't cause eye strain. For some reason I still get eye strain now ??
I think I changed some settings the first time but dont remember what. I tried different color schemes, brightness, color correction mode. Anyone who has another suggestion I can try ? Any help is appreciated !

I bought this 2017 verion of the J3 with Model number SM-J330F and Android 7.0 in The Netherlands
https://www.coolblue.nl/product/791865/The Nokia 3 and 5, Moto G5 and Moto E4 were all causing me eye strain. Finally I found a phone that doesn't hurt my eyes not even with low brightness set.
It is the Samsung Galaxy J3 Duos (2017)
Hopefully this can help other people who are looking for a phone that's comfortable on the eyes. Good luck everyone !randomboolean Thank you for your response, I don't think I'm sensitive to PWM. I tested the Nokia 3 ,5 and Moto E4 and according to notebookcheck they don't use PWM. But still they cause me eye strain. What I do know is that I only see with one eye, so I can't see depth. I appreciate your HTC suggestions however I need a dual sim phone because I travel a lot. Right now I I'm thinking of trying the Samsung J3 Duos (2017) which has a AMOLED screen.
