Plasma TV draws each colour one at a time. The whole screen will be just red pixels, then the whole screen the next colour and so on until the frame is complete. Then the process repeats with the next frame. It does not show RGB at the same time, it shows them separately. You absolutely will see flicker on static images. Moving images are easier. These tvs are heavy and power hungry, I have never owned one. Plasma is very good for sports though.
Very true the talk about the input mattering. Be careful with the Amazon Fire stick, some have complained about it. I have never tested any.
E-ink monitors, there are two.. one is Dasung the other is Onyx. One person here has the Dasung and was able to determine that the input from Windows 10 was providing it with dithering patterns.
