I almost grabbed an IPS monitor but heard a lot of complaints from people regarding how bright they were, even on low settings. If anyone is looking for that good monitor that's easy on the eyes...
Might I possibly suggest the MSI Mag24c. At least to me, the texts look very clear, not grainy at all but I haven't tried a bunch of different monitors so it could be subjective. I did a lot of searching and landed on these. The mag24c is the latest revision based on the g24c, the mag has cosmetic changes, vesa mounting and audio ports I believe. I tried looking for reports on people complaining about fatigue while using this and couldn't find one person. Found plenty of complaints about people using IPS though. It's true there are far more IPS panels being sold compared to VA. I'm just worried that they may phase it out once IPS becomes affordable.
The mag24c has the VA panel, non-glossy/glare screen, less blue light, anti-flicker, 144hz (this can be adjusted at least on windows) and curved display. 24" so it's ideal for 1080p. You are supposed to sit about 3 feet more or less from it. These are based on Samsung's CCFG70/73 monitors. But the MSI model does NOT have quantum dot technology which uses blue LED to emit light. So this might be a positive to some. Basically all the features that supposedly makes it easier on the eyes. Heavy youtuber, games and plenty of reading. Easily doing 10+ hour sessions in front of a monitor. They seem to really respond well to me. If anyone does grab one, let me know how it goes...I'm very curious.
30 days return window (not return shipping though), no restocking fee, $220 out the door
