Sorry to hear about the A14 5G (& the Poco).
The UK model of the A14 5G comes with the dimensity 700/4GB ram, & not with the more powerful exynos processor that comes with the international variant. Therefore I was not too interested to try it. It also looks quite unpleasant in design.
I ordered the oneplus nord 3 lite, and returned it back to Amazon the very next day. Lucky for me, Amazon accepted my return without hassle.
The screen was uncomfortable with a strong blue tint, & I couldn't find a decent comfort level when tweaking the color settings. I felt eye strain within an hour.
I also found it hard to focus and read web text. This has become very common with a lot of the new LCD screens.
I felt the exact same sensation with the Motorola G73. These screens feel too sharp, & I found it difficult to read text without my eyes shifting/skimming the text, which caused difficulty in comprehending & understanding what I was reading. It's a very strange odd sensation, & I can't fully articulate it well, using words.
Personally, the previous ce 2 lite display is a lot better than the ce 3 lite.
I'm still using the Honor 70 Lite (& sometimes Honor x8a).
I use both with the color temperature set to pure yellow (not amber or orange). If I move the color temperature to another color (default, orange, amber, red, blue, green etc), that strange & odd shifting/skimming/unfocused reading web text sensation happens. Very odd.
I've also now applied matte screen protectors to the both of them and they both provide a decent level of comfort.
But if I'm being 100% honest, I still prefer the display of the Realme 9 pro.
For me so far, the older realme LCD devices have proved to be the best, as they provide the almost perfect screen calibration that works so effortlessly with matte screen protectors. Almost like they're perfect fits.
I'm feeling slight anxiety about my realme phones degrading with use, and I want to look into getting some more as backups. But it's becoming increasingly difficult to source older realme phones in the UK.
