I did a one-year trial during which I only used an e-ink phone. So, no LCD—just the screen at work.

I would like to report my positive experiences; this is not a placebo effect, as others have also noticed the changes.

- **More focused and able to concentrate deeply**

- **Less stressed in general, with more energy to accomplish tasks**

- **Fewer headaches and less mental fatigue**

- **Reduced mental fog and improved reasoning speed**

If I were to use an IPS smartphone again, I believe these positive effects would revert to being negative. One thing I noticed, however, is that while using the e-ink phone, my sensitivity to artificial lights has decreased. Now, the lights from cars, street lamps, and digital signs bother me more than usual.

for me it's been the opposite -- after switching all at-home tasks I previously used a phone for from iPhone to Boox Palma (and only using iPhone outdoors sparingly) my sensitivity to artificial lights has gotten way better

still prefer incandescent and higher quality LEDs at home, but "bad" LED lighting and flourescents are muchhh more tolerable to me now, compared to before I switched to e-ink

Reducing the blue light over-consumption we have nowadays can do wonders to a human, thanks for sharing your experiences.

I'm a bit sad that most eink devices seem to be made flimsily made, approaching the e-waste territory.
The SuperNote A5X2 seems better in this regard, albeit at a hefty price tag for what it objectively offers compared to other display solutions.
