I think there needs to be more information here not just GPU model. Needs to be a bunch of things like HDR, G-Sync/VRR, refresh rate, bit depth and output color format. I've managed to use an EVGA RTX 3080, MSI RTX 3070, Gigabyte 1080, 1070 Max Q, 1060 max Q all without issue. Although even with my current setup with the RTX 3080 it is possible for me to set certain color settings that will cause me problems. I only use display port to hdmi or hdmi out to my LG OLED 48CX monitor. I feel like when I set 10 or 12 bit color and 4:4:4 it makes me feel weird pretty quickly. VRR also seems to really mess with me.

I am running:
RTX 3080 HDMI to LG 48CX
120Hz
3840x2160
8 bit with YUV420 most of the time
G-sync OFF
HDR OFF
Eye comfort mode on TV

I think if I go higher than 8-bit I start feeling weird. Even with dithering off. I have RGB, 420 and 444 to select.

I've tried an MSI VENTUS XS OC and an EVGA 1660 Super (not sure of the exact model) - and neither worked for me sadly.

Is it possible that 1080ti gives me stomach ache? Yesterday I didn't use it no ache. The day before I used it and in the morning I had stomach ache and reflux.
This could be strange because with 1080ti I never had migraine and nausea.
Are there user with stomach ache caused by devices?

Ps. My 1660 is Msi Ventus 2x

You haven't tested the 1080Ti again yet? Which manufacturer 1080Ti video card are you going to test?

I’ve been using a 1660 Ti and it works well enough for me, but it just doesn’t have enough power for three 4K monitors. I’m thinking about going with a 1080 Ti. What kind of issues did you have with the 1080 Ti compared to the 1660 Super? Which model and brand of the 1080 Ti are you planning to test? Looking forward to seeing your new test results.

Today I sold gtx1080ti 11gb asus strix, it gave me pain in brows + brainfog similar to rtx2070s ( not so hard as rtx30 or rtx40 )

So you just swapped in the 1660 instead of the 1080 Ti ? Was the motherboard, Windows version, and driver version all the same? What WDDM version does dxdiag show on your system?

WDDM versions above 2.7 just don’t sit right with my eyes. But 2.7 on Win 10 LTSC feels perfect — smooth and easy on the eyes.

Yes I reset CMOS in BIOS and reinstall drivers, i.e. get same config but another GPU

Is Windows 10 1809 LTSC (build 17763.1098) with WDDM 2.5 better for you than Windows 10 LTSC 2021 (21H2)? What kind of symptoms do you get on 21H2 WDDM 2.7?

Why did you reset CMOS and reinstall the drivers? I feel like testing should be done without reinstalling the driver.

Have you tried any other GTX 10xx cards besides ASUS? If so, which ones, and how did your eyes react to them?

Anyone here compared cards using the same GPU? Is it possible they can feel different on the eyes even if it’s the same chip but different cards brands?

FreeStar Yes, different brands of GPUs with the same core chip have their own 'signature' strain. Video ram brand and overclocking may affect it also.

We reflash/reset bios and reinstall windows/drivers because the bios in some motherboards keeps settings/values and strain persists even after you remove a bad video card.
