Now look what I found:
"The cord is frying you"
"I bought an EMF reader to see if corded was safer than the wireless. What I found is shocking... because the removed the audio only jack, you must plug into the power. This turning your whole headphone and its cord into an amplifier and the Emf is not only much stronger but every part of the cord is producing the EMF. By comparison the audio only headphones absolutely do not do this as I have confirmed.
I tried 3 brands and anything using the power jack will do this to you."
So if you have no headphone jack, you should not be using wired headphones. Very interesting! Then you are stuck using wireless or bluetooth, which totally defeats the health benefits of using wired.
And on top of that, the phone companies have convinced the public to pay more for these devices without any dedicated audio jack.
Isn't this such an interesting world.
Now I read:
"Maybe we'll see dual USB C phones if this trend continues but I won't hold my breath as the wireless earbuds industry is very lucrative to these companies, especially Apple."
The phone companies in general aren't cashing in on wireless earbuds.
Another says:
"I hate that the headphone jack is so rare, especially in higher end phones. There's no excuse that can't be debunked, it's just to sell wireless earbuds."
It's not to sell wireless earbuds, but that's the plausible enough conspiracy theory they wanted the public to accept. When I search Amazon for wireless earbuds, I get countless generic options from all kinds of Chinese companies. The major phone manufacturers, except Apple, have not been cashing in. Therefore, it's ludicrous to suggest Motorola, Samsung, and any others removed the jack out of greed or for more profit.
Removing the jack makes the phone more harmful should you use wired headphones with the remaining USB-C port. Otherwise you're stuck using wireless devices right next to your brain. Neither option respects the health of the consumer. Reminds me of coercing the public to line up for dangerous gene-based/mRNA injections. There is a method to the madness.
Meanwhile, one here wrote: "If potential Samsung buyer sees cool airbuds from apple user, he or she might be lured into competitors product. So there is simply no choice but to follow."
Having a headphone jack never prevented a user from using wireless or bluetooth accessories. Removing the jack is not a feature consumers demanded. There is no legitimate benefit to the removal of that jack. Sony's high-end phones include the jack: https://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_1_vii_5g-13843.php

"The headphone experience features high-end circuitry for even better sound."
Those phones have IP65/IP68 protection and are not larger than phones with only USB-C. The dedicated audio jack offers only benefits, and we don't see Sony trying to cash in on the market for wireless headsets by taking away the jack. The profit conspiracy theory is a ruse for those not equipped to think and reason at a bigger picture level.
