martin I seem to had different symptoms from most people here. For me my eyes feel like want to flip or turn towards the nose. So I try hard to focus and was giving me daily eye inflammation, so anything anti-inflamatory was helping. Besides lowering the inflammation I could also feel that the muscles are more relaxed and didn't feel like they want to flip anymore and focus more easily. I could reproduce this relief with:
- restasis/cyclosphorine - doctor prescribed me this for extreme dry eyes, it's "light steroid", I used it month-two, but stopped as I don't really have dry eyes
- fluoromethanol - this is serious steroid that doctor gave me for a week
- prednisone - this is another serious steroid. I had pinched nerve in the back, so I wasn't really troubleshooting my eyes problem that time
- naphcon A - this is not steroid, it just shrinks your blood vessels but not recommended to use for longer than a week.
However I had interesting turnaround recently! I learned that I cannot handle font aliasing, as soon I disabled it my eyes don't feel like want to flip anymore and now my pattern changed from having burning eyes and whole body fatigue to to just eye strain (and some light body fatigue, but now it feels more like temporary depression not full exhaustion and falling a sleep). Now with the strain pattern, I have tried only restasis drops and they do not help as much as they did before with the burning eye pattern.
