At Philips' site they just say 16.7 million colors.
Oh, here's yours:
Colour support: 1.07 billion (8-bits per subpixel plus dithering).
Like JTL says, I wouldn't expect FRC to work on yours unless you're trying to output a 10 bit signal.
On the 27" it may be a problem, however, if it is just 6 bit + FRC. So far those I've asked about eye comfort with that unit have said it's good, but I seem to get that response no matter which model I inquire about.
Also, I think I've had some subjective improvement since disabling my "night light" that was making my displays warmer. Remember I was running that on various settings during daytime as a blue light filter. The cooler light feels better somehow.
