JTL The laptop is a HP ZBook Firefly 15 G7 Mobile Workstation with NVidia Quadro P520 and Intel UHD Graphics. From my notes, when I figured out how to downgrade the BIOS, the Windows 10 Pro version was 21H2 (OS Build 19044.1288) and the BIOS version was S73 01.08.20 (released on 12/03/2022). Symptoms had already started a couple of months earlier with version 01.08.00, though. To be on the safe side, I installed version 01.07.00 Rev. A (from 02/12/2021) and the screen became usable again. Afterwards, I got the authorization to uninstall the HP app that runs updates on the manufacturer's end, and did not bother anymore checking on the BIOS version. However, it is S73 Ver. 01.09.00 now, so it must have changed via Windows updates because that is the only update that my IT admin runs remotely.
