- My path with pwm and dithering started when I first tried iPhone 12. Before that I didn't have any problems with anything related to displays, or I was not paying attention to it. I didn't like iPhone 12 and I returned it next day and completely forgot about that display problem and I just said to my friends that i didn't like it and I was feeling that my vision is some kind of disturbed or so. So since then 2 years without any issues. I was still using my gaming monitor Asus vg27aq 8bit, iphone 11 pro and macbook pro 15 2018. At work I was using as well macbook pro 15 2019 Intel chipset iphone 11 and Pixel 5 which have a pwm as i turned out. So during that time i was not complaining about Pixel 5 at all, then company bought macbook pro 16 M1 Max, I was using it, was not noticing any issues with it, it was a greatest laptop I ever used. But then Sept 2022 iphone 14 released. I ordered iPhone 14 pro and tried it. So after 15-20 mins of using it I started to feel nausea, brain fog, even vertigo. I returned it next day and I was shocked like wtf is that. And since then I started to read everything about it PWM, FRC, Dithering bla bla. I tried Pixel 5 after a month or 2 and got a crazy feelings lol.
- So my assumption is that: the current technology is fcking our eyes pretty hard, it's not our muscles or so, thats a fact. Probably I was lucky to have VG27AQ true 8 bit monitor and not FRC. For some reasons unknown mbp 16 m1 and pixel 5 was not giving me problems before iPhone 14. The other thing also let's not forget about our brain, that thing is constantly trying to fck us as well. As soon as u starting to think that ohhh this new monitor that i'm going to try could fck my eyes - and it will, even if monitor is good from hardware perspective! As soon as you trying to tweak your good monitor brightness or other color settings - your brain will fck u up. So what i'm trying to say is that we are at war in 3 fronts - ourselves, manufacturers and software updates.
- Haha sorry if this text is hard to read. I can give more explanation on some of the areas from it, I might explained it incorrectly.
- Had the same 1 fps mode with weed, but only 1 time when I took toooo much

- They probably never heard about your problem. Even if they are, they will not tell you anything. I tried to talk with Apple guys, they never heard about it or lying.
I wanted to ask people about floater in the eyes? These things giving me some hard times sometimes, and doctors saying you can't do anything about it So if someone experiencing the same issue and could share some info, that would be awesome
