Hello, I understand correctly that these are drops for glaucoma, this is annoying and I understand that you don’t have such a strong problem with flicker if you used OnePlus 8t
✌️ Cause of my Temporal Dithering LED eye strain and an effective treatment
I took Latanelb for a couple of years because of high eye pressure (in the 20s) and they did not help with eye strain at all.

I have been using eink devices for at least a year and have noticed incredible improvements in my life.
The negative thing is that these devices, even smartphones, are limited and limit your life a bit.
Now I am switching to an iPhone whether 2016 or 2022, making it as minimal as possible.
For the rest, I would also like to do an investigation to understand why I have these problems that also reveal themselves in anxiety and panic attacks when I look at flashing lights or oled screens.
Yes, I am astigmatic too
Also, thanks for sharing this! https://www.dnrs.50webs.com/
It's just saying the key is to use and see the placebo effect as a positive thing?
I saw my opthalmologist today about trialing Latanoprost drops - she was very skeptical and only allowed the prescription on a 2-week trial basis. Will definitely report back with updates as I start them tomorrow. Cautiously optimistic
Also, @Zodios - did your doctor warn you of any side effects? I was told to be cautious and not to count on them as a long term solution. Anything similar on your end?
I was able to get Xalatan today! I start using the drops this evening and will update you over the weekend!

A little update from me. Today it's been two weeks since I started using the Xalantan drops, unfortunately it hasn't changed anything I hope some of you will have better luck

bisk89 Sorry to hear that. On the positive side, it's something you can cross off the potential culprit list at least ️
I've used the drops for the last 3 nights, I also haven't experienced any concrete improvement yet either. I see that Zodios used the drops twice a day at the beginning, I'm curious if that's a factor in how quickly they worked for him - I might try doing that as well. Will report back in a few days with another update (Hopefully positive)
I put the drops in last night but I must say that my left eye is giving me some trouble! Burning/blurred vision!
Here https://youtu.be/fIvV0QROmn4 is nice explanation how pressure to oculomotor nerve cause pupils dilation and thus light/flicker sensitivity
Zodios
does pressure arise due to osteochondrosis?
Small update: I am testing the latanoprost with the gaming computer (13700K + 4070 + W11 23H2) and there is a reduction in symptoms quite evident. On Sunday I played 4/5 hours over the course of the day. Normally after 30/40 minutes I have to use eye patch to avoid migraine.
Unfortunately, my left eye does not accept this medication. But still my dominant eye is the right one and the reduction of symptoms is present even using one drop a day only on the right eye.
Update on my end:
I've been using the drops for about 12 days now. Thankfully, no real side effects. I've started using my wife's iPhone 15 about 30 mins a day, and I'm noticing that it doesn't hurt as much. Could be placebo though, so I'm going to do a longer test session.
That's awesome! Congrats I hope the drops keeps working for you.

Zodios I replaced my eink smartphone with an lcd one. I started noticing that during this 1 month trial, my head felt more overwhelmed, the lights became a problem. Like I had something squeezing my temples and forehead.
These digital lights are definitely causing me vision problems, my eyes feel sore too. This also causes me problems driving at night, now that all the cars are moving Christmas treesI saw these https://www.theraspecs.com/night-driving/
What can we do about this?
Out of curiosity, what was the reason you replaced it? Too old, or you wanted colour?

Sunspark Just to try the lcd screens again. I already have a colored one (Hisense a5 pro cc)
I found the lcd very good because of the easy navigation and use of maps. With the color eink one you don't have great usability, but more or less you can do it. Also, lately, I noticed something when looking in the mirror. My pupils contract and expand intermittently. Why does this happen I ask my self.

Any new observations for latanoprost?

Lauda89 There is also a supplement that has an evident influence on eye pressure.
Mirtogenol could lower your IOP after 3 months of usage. And there are no side effects were found. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC2447819/
You could try it if Latanoprost causes problems.
There is also research that showed that a combination of Latanoprost and Mirtogenol has better efficiency than Latanoprost solely. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20505841/
