JTL I blocked windows update. Maybe I lack something needed to install it

All you do is just unzip it to a folder and run ditherig.exe in the amd64 folder. If it doesn't work it's because of your computer configuration. You could try a different version number too to see.

I don't understand the installation issue here.

Requirement: Integrated Intel GPU. This is not for Nvidia or AMD.

      Unzip archive to a folder.

Run ditherig.exe in the /amd64 subfolder.

      Done.

Sunspark The DLL issue can be triggered by the EXE not being cohabited with the DLL, but it is theoretically not the only cause.

        3 months later

I get the dll issue on my laptop - using Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics.

I am doing everything the people above have suggested - no joy. I even installed all the C++ runtimes as it is coded in C++.

Guys - the missing dll problem is because you are trying to run the exe in the x86 folder for Intel integrated graphics - don't do this - RUN THE AMD64 exe for everything! It works fine. (Crazy, I know)

        a year later

Liberator005 They ask me if i want to allow the program to install, i click yes. And then like there is nothing.

How do I know if it's effectively installed and running ?

Once it's effectively installed and running you'll see an icon in your systray.

For me, it is better to use the basic video adapter driver instead of this ditherig app. The app does have a bit but whichever option is chosen, there is still some discomfort for me. Meanwhile the basic driver relieved a lot.

I can't use the basic driver because I watch videos on my computer so I need the acceleration, so I need the actual driver. Thankfully I have a comfortable setup.
