New to ditherig, how to install it ?

So, I want to try ditherig. Went to the site https://kawamoto.no-ip.org/henteko/myapp_en.html and downloaded the 1.14 version for intel graphics. When trying to install, I choose x86 or amd64. In both cases, it fails to install and I have a small window mentioning : Failed to load a DLL.

Is anyone familiar with this ? How to get it work ? Thanks

Actually, it tells me again : failed to load a DLL…

I think it needs .NET Framework or something like that

Alyosha2001 It doesn't. Error can be caused by running it directly from the archive because it can't find the other DLLs it needs.

Once it's effectively installed and running you'll see an icon in your systray.

All you do is just unzip it to a folder and run ditherig.exe in the amd64 folder. If it doesn't work it's because of your computer configuration. You could try a different version number too to see.

I don't understand the installation issue here.

Requirement: Integrated Intel GPU. This is not for Nvidia or AMD.

Unzip archive to a folder.

Run ditherig.exe in the /amd64 subfolder.

Done.

Sunspark The DLL issue can be triggered by the EXE not being cohabited with the DLL, but it is theoretically not the only cause.

I get the dll issue on my laptop - using Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics.

I am doing everything the people above have suggested - no joy. I even installed all the C++ runtimes as it is coded in C++.

Guys - the missing dll problem is because you are trying to run the exe in the x86 folder for Intel integrated graphics - don't do this - RUN THE AMD64 exe for everything! It works fine. (Crazy, I know)
