Hello all,
Over the years, I have tried so many laptops and settings at the OS level, used Iris and Care4Eyes, ditherig, and every setting I can think of…. But every screen is making me dizzy except for my work laptop when it is plugged into the docking station with a generic Dell monitor.
When I look at its laptop screen/non-docked, it hurts/gives me headaches/dizziness.
I just tried a Acer Swift 3 with Intel Arc… and that still affects me (less than the Alienware I used to have).
I have tried Windows 10 vs. 11 and on the same laptop I still got dizzy.
So a few questions:
Is this more of a hardware thing where I would be better off with a desktop (if so, what video card and monitor)?
Is this more of an OS layer issue?
Any ideas of how I can compare all the display settings of when my work laptop is on the docking station to when it’s not (including color temp, etc.)?
Thank you for any assistance,
K.
