Did you try and run it without extraction?
New to ditherig, how to install it ?
I think it needs .NET Framework or something like that
Alyosha2001 It doesn't. Error can be caused by running it directly from the archive because it can't find the other DLLs it needs.
OK, must have mistook it for ThrottleStop.

JTL Hi, thanks for the answer. I tried to run it without extraction. But I don't know if it did run. Like i clicked execute. They ask me if i want to allow the program to install, i click yes. And then like there is nothing.
How do I know if it's effectively installed and running ?
Actually, it tells me again : failed to load a DLL…

Liberator005 You need to extract the entire archive somewhere
JTL It's exactly what I did. I tried with and without extraction. Same outcome.
Liberator005 Strange
JTL I blocked windows update. Maybe I lack something needed to install it
Liberator005 Not sure
All you do is just unzip it to a folder and run ditherig.exe in the amd64 folder. If it doesn't work it's because of your computer configuration. You could try a different version number too to see.
Sunspark Tried 2 version numbers. I'll try with another pc.
Liberator005 Have you tried ditherig version 2.0?
I don't understand the installation issue here.
Requirement: Integrated Intel GPU. This is not for Nvidia or AMD.
Unzip archive to a folder.
Run ditherig.exe in the /amd64 subfolder.
Done.
I get the dll issue on my laptop - using Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics.
I am doing everything the people above have suggested - no joy. I even installed all the C++ runtimes as it is coded in C++.
Guys - the missing dll problem is because you are trying to run the exe in the x86 folder for Intel integrated graphics - don't do this - RUN THE AMD64 exe for everything! It works fine. (Crazy, I know)
Liberator005 They ask me if i want to allow the program to install, i click yes. And then like there is nothing.
How do I know if it's effectively installed and running ?
Once it's effectively installed and running you'll see an icon in your systray.
I wrote up these installation instructions to hopefully help out others in the future.

For me, it is better to use the basic video adapter driver instead of this ditherig app. The app does have a bit but whichever option is chosen, there is still some discomfort for me. Meanwhile the basic driver relieved a lot.
